Meh. Didn't really like the first person narrator. Found both Peri and the sixth Doctor to be uninteresting, and the Vegas wannabe planet doubly so. Disappointed that I'm so disappointed by the only story in this series so far that's been written by a woman (although, I must say, Richelle Mead's other books don't sound very interesting to me, so I may just not be the right reader for her). (I was also going to say that having an American write in this series is bizarre, but I suppose the impulse behind this was that Peri is American as well . . . still. There's got to be some British ladies that are up for this.)
