Tip of the Tongue (Doctor Who 50th Anniversary E-Shorts, #5)
While it was kiiind of disappointing that the fifth Doctor wasn't really in this story that much, the story was so engaging it didn't really matter. It reminds me of those Doctor Who eps where the Doctor and/or the Companion take a backseat to secondary guest characters, like "Midnight" and "Blink." I really liked the monsters Ness created -- I could totally see this being an an episode of the show, and an enjoyable one at that. I also really liked Patrick Ness's writing style -- if I didn't already have his books on my to-read shelf, I would put them there after this.
